With a background in Recording Arts and professional experience as a sound engineer for Grammy Award–winning artists, Drea Young, also known as da_BooBoo, brings both technical expertise and genuine heart to every event she DJs.

A genre-fluid DJ, da_BooBoo specializes in seamlessly blending genres to create a customized soundtrack that fits the moment—whether it’s an elegant wedding reception, a milestone birthday, a graduation celebration, or a corporate event. No two sets are ever the same, because every event (and every crowd) is unique. She also offers professional lighting, hazer effects, and customizable DJ add-ons to enhance the atmosphere and elevate the overall event experience. 

Known for her ability to read the room, da_BooBoo elevates the energy of a space while staying perfectly in tune with the tone of the occasion. From laid-back cocktail hours to full-on dance floors, she adapts effortlessly—earning her reputation as a true “musical chameleon.”

In addition to private and corporate events, da_BooBoo DJs and hosts weekly karaoke and dance parties, serves as the resident DJ for Philly Drag Mafia, and produces community-driven events including BooBoo’s Babes and The Monday Night Meetup.
