G.H.A.D! (feat SLice & Ricky Winters)

With a background in Recording Arts and experience as a sound engineer (Grammy Award Winner – Best New Artist 2010 – Esperanza Spalding), Drea Young, who goes by the stage name da_BooBoo, is a multi-talented musician / DJ mixing the sounds of multiple genres. In the past year she has been support to acts such as Emorfik, Dirty Phoenix, and Eleusis Dub. Her natural blend of other artist’s music and her own original material will keep you on an energy filled roller coaster ride of sounds and emotions with not one set ever being exactly the same. da_BooBoo is a master at magnifying the energy of a room through music by interacting with and reading the crowd. She is known to be a “musical chameleon” wherever she goes and can blend into the festivities at any type of event.

Currently, da_BooBoo DJs / hosts weekly for karaoke, dance parties, drag shows, and an open mic.  Along with that she is part of many other exciting events public and private across Philadelphia and the tri-state area. She released a 4/20 anthem, “G.H.A.D! (feat. SLice & Ricky Winters), in the spring with plans for more releases through the summer.
